Didn't expect the platform sole to be this comfortable right out of the box, wore them on a rocky trail all afternoon with zero break-in issues. The nubuck has a nice structured feel that holds its shape instead of slouching.

The nubuck has this soft, almost velvety feel that I wasn't expecting from a hiker. Hiking laces actually stay tied on the trail, which is more than I can say for my old pair.

The platform sole gives me just enough height without feeling clunky on uneven trails. Hiking laces actually stay tied, which was my main worry with the nubuck. Wore them straight out of the box for a six-mile walk and no blisters.
