I was worried the suede would feel stiff, but these broke in after just two hikes. The lightweight sole is the real surprise — way less clunky than my old leather boots on long descents.

Wore these straight out of the box for a 6-mile muddy trail and my feet stayed dry the whole time. The suede scuffs a little but honestly it just adds character. Easily the most comfortable boots I've owned right away, no break-in blisters at all.

The sole is so much lighter than my old pair that I forgot I had them on during a full day of rocky trails. The suede upper feels broken-in already, like they've been worn for years but in the best way.
