Wore these through a muddy spring hike and the rubber rand around the base kept my feet completely dry where my old boots would've soaked through. The leather is stiff at first but it's breaking in nicely after a few wears. Solid ankle support on rocky descents too.

The D-ring lacing system makes getting these on and off quick even with thick socks, and the rubber mudguard has kept the leather clean through several wet trails. They’re sturdy without feeling clunky—exactly what I wanted.
